The Arc of Monroe County is hosting a breakfast, Thursday, March 24th, in light of Disabilities Awareness Month. It’s hoping to call on local businesses to consider employing people with disabilities.
The Executive Director of the foundation Eric Scheele and eHealth Technologies’ Vice President of Human Resources Michelle Halloran talked about the event on Good Day Rochester. This informal event will offer attendees an opportunity to meet business leaders and others who will speak from experience about how hiring persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities boosts their bottom line and enriches their workforce.
eHealth Technologies’ partnership with Arc of Monroe began two years ago and continues to be very rewarding. Ken Rosenfeld, eHealth Technologies CEO and President, will be participating in the panel along with leaders from Wegmans, Unity and others. Additional information about the event can be found here.
