Dan Torrens

Chief Executive Officer

Dan is passionate about improving the patient experience and delivering industry-leading digital technology solutions. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience to the chief executive officer role. A highly accomplished, strategic, and results-driven health care technology business leader, Dan has earned an esteemed reputation for successfully building high-performance cultures for growing companies, while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence.

Prior to joining eHealth Technologies, Dan served as the chief operating officer for ConnectiveRx in Pittsburgh, where he led the operations and technology teams to simplify the prescription process for specialty medication to ensure that patients receive the life-saving therapies they need as quickly as possible. He previously served as chief operating officer of CMMI Institute, a spin-off of Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute, where he partnered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Medical Device Innovation Consortium to help elevate the entire medical device industry with a focus on improving device quality to save lives. While at the CMMI Institute, he also partnered with U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) to improve data management of patient data demographic information to ensure the right patient receives the right treatment.

Michael Sciortino, Esq.

Chief General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer

Michael assists eHealth Technologies with its general corporate legal matters, contract negotiations, and ensuring its compliance with federal and state health privacy and security laws. Michael is also in private practice as a trial lawyer and has represented individuals with personal injuries, labor or employment disputes, business entities in health care law, commercial and corporate litigation, municipalities, and criminal defense, all in state and federal court. In addition, Michael is currently a judge of the Parma Town Court in Monroe County, an acting city court judge in Rochester City Court, a judge in Rochester Teen Court and is currently a trustee and past-president of the Monroe County Magistrates Association. Michael is also an arbitrator with the Better Business Bureau where he assists in the resolution of commercial disputes between businesses and consumers.

Matthew Hanley

Matt joined eHealth Technologies in July 2019 as Controller and is responsible for all finance and accounting operations. Matt has more than a decade of experience in both accounting and financial planning and analysis having held roles of increasing responsibility at global, multi-business corporations including Carestream Health and Novanta. In these roles, Matt worked with senior leadership to analyze financial risks and opportunities and use these indicators to drive improved business performance. Prior to Matt’s corporate experience, he was at DeJoy, Knauf & Blood, where he served as an Assurance Manager for large and mid-sized private companies. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from SUNY Brockport and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Amy Halter

Vice President of Human Resources

Amy Halter is a high-performing, collaborative human resources leader, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in driving strategic initiatives in a growing global technology organization.

Prior to joining eHealth Technologies, Amy served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Operations at Accion Labs, a global technology services firm with specialized focus on servicing enterprise and technology firms in emerging technologies such as Web 2.0, SAAS, Cloud, etc. She spent a decade there where she built a human resources program from the ground up and collaborated with operations to effectively grow the organization into new office locations globally.

Amy has a true passion for people and a deep appreciation for working with global teams. She has extensive experience in creating and implementing best practices for global team members to collaborate effectively.

Amy has a master’s degree in human resources and employee relations from Penn State University. She resides in Pittsburgh with her family.

Sean Ways

Vice President of Engineering

Sean brings more than 25 years of experience to this role, and a strong background in programming and cybersecurity in health care and other industries. Most recently, Sean served as the software engineering lead for ISACA, following its purchase of CMMI, a spin-off of Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute, where he is credited with modernizing the technical systems and infrastructure. Highlights from his tenure include a successful boutique software development engagement with the FDA to build a continuous improvement model and the supporting technology for medical device development. Under his leadership, several commercial SaaS products were launched, which continue to perform well in the market today.

Liz Butt

Vice President of Customer Success Management

Liz has dedicated her career to creating successful outcomes for both customers and employees at eHealth Technologies. Beginning as a Customer Support specialist in Operations in 2011, Liz understands the growing and ever-changing needs of eHealth Technologies’ closest partners and is able to troubleshoot to implement solutions that achieve the highest level of satisfaction. Liz previously held positions as an Operations Team Leader, Director of Employee Engagement, and Customer Success Manager at eHealth Technologies. She brings a workflow perspective to every project, helping to achieve realistic and sustainable results. In addition to problem-solving expertise, Liz is forward-thinking and proactively seeks new ways to create positive customer experiences. Liz resides in Irondequoit and serves as Vice-Chair on the Junior Board of Young Professionals for the Society for the Protection and Care of Children.

Kelly Sitton

Kelly began her journey at eHealth Technologies as a Customer Support Specialist in 2015 and quickly advanced in her career, serving previously as a Director of Medical Fulfillment, Regional Director, Senior Regional Team Leader, and a Regional Team Leader. Her years of experience at the organization has shaped not only her vast knowledge of the health care industry, but her love of helping others and making a positive impact on cancer patients across the country. To Kelly, leadership means “bringing others up around you, helping them learn and grow, and putting trust and respect in your colleagues.”

In her spare time, Kelly likes to support the philanthropic efforts of the eHealth Technologies Cares Team and spend time with family.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in health and wellness from Mars Hill University.

As a co-founder of Imaging Advantage, Legal Advantage and Tech Fetch, he built these companies from zero revenues and sub-10 employees to well over $100mm in revenues, and over five hundred employees globally.

Dave Beaulieu

Dave is a seasoned operations and technology executive, board member and advisor with broad experience in transforming the performance of companies to achieve significant growth and profitability. Dave is known for leading teams to scale companies for growth through talent selection and development, process engineering and automation. He has worked to move companies in digital transformation by enhancing data acquisition and analytics capabilities and introducing new workforce models.

Prior to forming his consulting firm, Dave held executive positions as COO at Cotiviti; SVP Marketing, Business & Product Development at DST; COO at Amisys-Synertech; Managing Partner for Government Services at First Consulting Group; and many executive & operational roles during his tenure at CIGNA Healthcare. Matt Lowen is a Vice President on the investment team at Aldrich Capital Partners (“ACP”) and joined the firm in 2017.

At ACP, Matt focuses on evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting existing portfolio companies, with a specific focus on the Healthcare IT sector.

Matt is a graduate of the Engineering School at the University of Virginia, where he earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering with concentrations in software and technology entrepreneurship.

Raheel Zia

Raheel “Raz” Zia is the founding Partner of ACP. As a serial entrepreneur and investor in health care and technology, he has been involved in scaling operations and growing sales to build large businesses that have enjoyed successful outcomes.

Prior to co-founding Aldrich Capital Partners, Raz was a Managing Director in the Principal Investment Area (“PIA”) of Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he helped launch the growth equity investing practice. Over the course of his private equity investing career, prior to launching Aldrich Capital Partners, he was part of a team that invested approximately $634 million of capital across 12 growth equity investments from 2003 until August 2014.

Raz has worked extensively with technology businesses and helped companies in areas such as sales and marketing, channel distribution, acquisitions, new product launches, and R&D. Raz was the co-founder and CEO of Knumi, Inc, a mobile application software company that sold solutions to major enterprises. He led the successful sale of the business to Houghton-Mifflin.

As Executive Director, Clinical Operations & Optimization at AccessHope, she has been instrumental in streamlining systems and processes, leading to a ten-fold increase in productivity and the integration of advanced analytics for improved decision-making and operational efficiency. Edith is known for her strategic problem-solving skills, operational excellence, and commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.

Prior to her current position, Edith Montemayor Angel held key leadership roles, including Senior Site Administrator III at Optum and Operations Manager at Advanced Medical Reviews. She played a pivotal role in driving an 18% year-over-year quality growth in regional health assessment programs, managing operations for full-risk patient populations, and leading successful COVID-19 response strategies.

Outside of AccessHope, Edith Montemayor Angel is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives, displaying her commitment to the healthcare sector and broader community engagement.

Edith Montemayor Angel holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Monterrey, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California, and a specialty in Industrial Medicine from Universidad Americana del Noreste.

Matthew Campo, MHA

Manager of Patient Access for Transplant Services

Matthew Campo brings nearly a decade of experience in transplant operations, finance, and business development, with a notable background at two world-class academic medical centers: UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia, and UCHealth in Aurora, Colorado. Currently, as the Manager of Patient Access for Transplant Services at UVA Health, Matthew provides leadership for a team of over 45 employees within financial services and patient access roles. He has been instrumental in launching a new state-of-the-art comprehensive transplant clinic and infusion center, as well as significantly contributing to a record-breaking year in transplantation. Matthew excels at leading cross-functional teams to drive service volumes and improve patient outcomes. 

Matthew’s previous positions at UCHealth include Manager of Patient Access for Transplant and Oncology Services, Project Manager for Transplant Services, and Administrative Resident with the VP of Market Development. Notably, he was pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing UCHealth’s inaugural system-wide centralized patient contact center.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from James Madison University and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Scranton.

Chris Clarke

Chris Clarke brings 20 years of project management experience, with 9 years in the healthcare industry. As Sr. Project Manager at Mayo Clinic she has been instrumental in the implementation of the Mayo Clinic Complex Care Program. She is known for her ability to effectively manage projects of strategic importance to the institution and successfully navigate challenging dynamics.

Prior to her current position, Chris Clarke held key leadership roles including Director of Event Management at the University of Minnesota. She was responsible for planning and executing logistics for University of Minnesota Athletic events, Big Ten Conference Championships and NCAA Championships.

Outside of Mayo Clinic, Chris is a member of the Project Management Institute.

Chris Clarke holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Connecticut and a Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Christina Cone, DNP, MBA, ANP-BC, AOCNP

Administrative Director, Nurse Practitioner

Duke Health

Christina Cone brings 27 years of experience in healthcare. As Administrative Director at Duke Health’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Dr. Cone has developed and implemented strategic objectives, managed financial indicators, recruited and evaluated staff, coordinated resource planning and facility usage, and collaborated with third parties and stakeholder groups. As an Adult Nurse Practitioner for the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, she cares for patients with primary brain and spinal cancers.

Before joining Duke Health, Dr. Cone was an adult nurse practitioner in a private hematology and oncology practice. She also has experience as an oncology clinical nurse educator and as a clinical research associate in the oncology division of a large clinical research organization. In her early career, Dr. Cone held inpatient and outpatient nursing positions in adult oncology and adult bone marrow transplant.

Outside of Duke Health, Dr. Cone is a committee chair for the Advanced Practitioner Society of Hematology and Oncology, displaying her commitment to oncology practice and broader community engagement.

Christina Cone holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from East Carolina University, a Master of Business Administration degree with a graduate certificate in Health Care Management from East Carolina University, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University.

Truman (TC) Cowles, MHA, BSN, RN

Director, Neuroscience Clinic Operations

Stanford Health Care

TC Cowles brings 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the Director for Neuroscience Clinic Operations at Stanford Health Care. In this role, he has been instrumental in guiding the service line’s strategic initiatives, improving access to specialty care services, and ensuring the seamless delivery of healthcare services. TC is known for his innovative approach to patient care and leadership in operational excellence.

TC began his nursing career in critical care, working as a staff nurse in the ICU and Step-Down unit in St. Louis, MO before joining Stanford Health Care in February 2016.  Prior to his current position, TC held key leadership roles that emphasized improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency. He played a pivotal role in the development of Stanford’s first Neuroscience Supportive Care Program, which offers complementary alternative medicine and supportive care for neuroscience patients.  His commitment to enhancing patient experiences and outcomes was further evidenced by his advancement to Assistant Patient Care Manager, where he oversaw neurology clinic operations, eventually becoming Patient Care Manager for the Neuroscience service line in 2021, leading Neuropsychology, Neurosurgery, and Neurology clinic operations.  A two-time Daisy Award recipient, he exemplifies excellence in nursing and patient care. 

TC holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Maryville University.

Dennis Dansby

Vice President Healthcare Technology and Informatics

Dr. Dennis Dansby is a seasoned healthcare professional with over XX years of experience in the industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Healthcare Technology and Informatics at Tampa General Hospital. In this pivotal role, he has been instrumental in advancing the integration of technology and clinical practice, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving innovations in patient care.

Before his current position, Dr. Dansby was the Director of Clinical Applications at Tampa General Hospital, where he led initiatives that significantly improved the usability of electronic medical records and clinical workflows. Known for his innovative approach, he champions operational excellence and seeks to leverage technology to transform patient outcomes.

Dr. Dansby’s research interests are diverse, focusing on healthcare technology and process improvement. He is currently investigating the use of provider-level data to enhance efficiency within electronic medical records, as well as implementing clinical alert systems to facilitate workflow optimization and practice changes that enhance patient care.

He began his career as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, where he shared his expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals. Dr. Dansby earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University, obtained in 1995.

With a commitment to improving healthcare delivery through technology and education, Dr. Dansby continues to be a leading voice in the intersection of pharmacy and healthcare informatics.

Danielle McLaughlin, MPH

Director, Clinic Operations, Patient Access & Supportive Care, Cancer Services

UC San Diego Health

Danielle McLaughlin, MPH, is Director of Clinical Operations, Patient Access and Supportive Care for Cancer Services at UC San Diego Health. In this role, Ms. McLaughlin provides overall leadership for administrative functions in outpatient oncology including call center management, access, clinical operations, financial and human resource management, and program development. She also oversees clinical expansion activities.

Prior to serving as Director of Clinical Operations, Patient Access and Supportive Care, Ms. McLaughlin has held various project management, program development and governance positions at UC San Diego Health, San Diego State University and University of Southern California.  

Ms. McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from UC Davis and a master’s degree in public health from UCLA.

Diane Muench BSN, OCN, MBA

Associate Chief Nurse, Executive Director of Professional Practice and Development

I have worked as a nurse and healthcare leader for over 35 years in a variety of healthcare delivery settings including ICU, home infusion care, oncology care coordination, ambulatory medicine and as a medical editor creating electronic medical reference materials in multiple specialties.

Over the years, I have acquired training, skills, and experience in both patient-facing and clinical leadership roles as an administrator, nurse manager, vice president of editorial services, director of professional services, and manager and director at the Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University. I am currently the Associate Chief Nurse Executive and Director of Professional Practice and Development at Northwestern Medicine.  My experience, ranging from patient-facing care to oversight of corporate healthcare initiatives, gives me a comprehensive clinical and organizational perspective when navigating healthcare leadership challenges and opportunities.  I am committed to healthcare quality and safety as a foundation for innovative and creative program development and am dedicated to process improvement with the goal of providing the highest quality care to patients.  

I am currently an adjunct professor in Northwestern University’s Master of Healthcare Administration program about to begin my sixth term as the instructor for the class “Clinical Perspectives in Healthcare Leadership”.    

I have a BSN from Elmhurst College and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.  I am an oncology certified nurse and am a member of the Oncology Nurse Society, American Organization of Nursing Leadership and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing.

Samantha Myers

Director, Operational and Strategic Initiatives, Cancer Service Line

Samantha Myers brings over 9 years of experience in hospital administration including cancer center operations. As the Director of Operational and Strategic Initiatives for the Cancer Service Line at Johns Hopkins, she has been responsible for harmonization of practices across the different Johns Hopkins campuses where cancer care is provided. Additionally, she’s standardized the multidisciplinary clinics and help develop algorithms to help improve access for new cancer patients.

Prior to her current position, Samantha held key leadership roles including as the Assistant Administrator for Solid Tumor cancers in medical oncology where she was responsible for the clinical practice and operations over multiple locations. She also was previously an Operations Manager when she first joined the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and an Administrative Resident prior to that position. Before joining Johns Hopkins, Samantha taught sixth grade writing through Teach for America in Denver, Colorado. She also worked for Connect for Health Colorado, Colorado’s health insurance marketplace as an Eligibility and Appeals Analyst.

Outside of Johns Hopkins, Samantha engages and serves the community as a board member of Dundalk Renaissance Corporation. She volunteers as a mentor for Baltimore city youth through Thread, and she is a member of Junior League of Baltimore.

Samantha holds a Masters in Health Administration from George Washington University. She has her Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies from Colgate University.
