Employees and their families participated at a congratulatory picnic
Rochester, N.Y., August 16, 2016 – eHealth Technologies, the leading provider of clinically informed referral solutions, celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a picnic for employees and their family.
“Celebrating our 10th year anniversary gives us the opportunity to not only celebrate what we have been able to accomplish so far but also to get energized for the continuous growth of the company,” said Ken Rosenfeld, CEO, President and co-Founder of eHealth Technologies. “We now support the majority of the top 100 hospitals in the country with almost 200 employees, after starting in 2006 with only 4 employees. A lot changes when any company expands at that pace, but one thing remains the same: our employees are fully committed to helping hospitals across the country care for their patients.”
The company has helped over 700,000 patients since it started, processes the equivalent of over 12 million pages of medical records and over 1 billion images annually, which are provided quickly and organized intelligently so clinicians have the information they need to care for their patients.
One of the important clinical specialties supported by the company is solid organ transplant. eHealth Technologies currently works with over 40 of the top 100 transplant departments and with close to 60 transplant departments nationwide.
To further support organ transplantation and to give back to the community, eHealth Technologies partnered with Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network and Lions Eye Bank at Rochester to participate at the celebratory company picnic. These organizations provided information to employees and their families and encouraged them to sign up to be organ donors. As a result, several signed up to be organ donors. These donors are invaluable to the many lives that they could possibly impact.
“We were very excited for this opportunity to share important educational information around organ donation with eHealth Technologies’ employees. Statistics show that each organ donor registered has the potential of saving 8 lives and heal the lives of more than 50 people,” said Amy James, Community Education Manager for Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network.
The event took place Saturday, August 13, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at eHealth Technologies’ newly expanded 36,000 sq. ft. corporate offices in West Henrietta, NY.
