Are you working remotely like nearly half of Americans during the pandemic? Studies show that over 40% of US labor force is working from home full time during the COVID-19 shutdowns.
With face-to-face communication changing to video conferencing and paper records becoming more difficult to manage, making this transition in healthcare has been especially challenging. Shifting to remote models has become a critical component to maintaining patient care.
As eHealth clients have faced struggles like the rest of the world to sustain their practices and continue the work of their departments safely, they have told us that their partnership with us has made it possible for them to continue to maintain, grow and flourish in the “new normal.”
Accessing requested medical records and images for new patients is seamless for staff. eHealth Technologies transfers records and images directly into the EMR/PACS, allowing staff to access, view and download records from anywhere from our secure, online portal.
Supporting flexing volumes. As medical facilities began to reopen and scheduling of patients resumed, many of our clients experienced a surge in appointment requests. Managing medical record retrieval and organization to complete intake for this higher-than-normal volume of patients was easily handled by our team. We assign additional resources, as needed, to manage a spike of records requests – even if it’s just for a short time period.
Managing the new world of telemedicine. As many clinical departments adopted telemedicine they experienced an increase of patients from outside their normal referral base. The need to retrieve records from new provider locations was easily handled by the eHealth Technologies team given our experience with sources across the country.
Hear from Our Team: This two-minute video captures how eHealth Technologies was able to meet the critical needs of clinical departments both as the pandemic started and infection rates and patient volumes changed over the past several months.

Health experts predict that COVID-19 disruptions may continue until the end of 2021, with recovery efforts lasting long into future years. Hospitals and health systems will continue to navigate patient load related to increasing infection rates, providing routine medical services, and the management of new patient referrals for specialty care.
In these unprecedented times, healthcare leaders must consider new ways to sustain their ability to provide patient care. Let eHealth Technologies be part of your solution.
