Longtime Employee of UnitedHealth Group/Optum Joins eHealth Technologies Executive Team

Rochester, N.Y., January 26, 2021—eHealth Technologies extends a warm welcome to its new Vice President of Engineering, James Norman.

James Norman Norman will lead IT and Engineering at eHealth Technologies and will oversee the development and delivery of the technology vision, roadmap, architectural strategy, and execution of IT solutions. Norman will also guide operational excellence and strategic advancement of technology for both internal teams within eHealth Technologies, and external audiences. He is passionate about creating digital experiences that are feature-rich, performant, secure and enhance overall customer usability.

Norman brings a wealth of experience in delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions in highly regulated industries with an emphasis in health care. Prior to joining eHealth Technologies, he held leadership positions for over 15 years at UnitedHealth Group and Optum, where he led global clinical technology teams and drove digital transformation initiatives. Over the course of his career, Norman has earned accolades for his role as a vanguard of agile transformation and as founder of a technology platform for quickly engineering clinical systems.

Norman received a business degree from Bethel University and furthered his education with master’s courses in software management at St. Thomas University. An active community volunteer in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in his free time James enjoys fishing, camping, skiing, and hiking with his family.
